National Spring Tree-Planting Campaign Launched in Kabul

KABUL (Afghan Verified) — The national spring tree-planting campaign began at the Kabul Institute of Technical and Vocational Education, according to a press release from the Kabul provincial governor's press office.

Mullah Aminullah Ubaid, governor of Kabul, addressed the ceremony, describing the protection of the environment and the greening of the city as a shared responsibility. He urged citizens to plant saplings and pay attention to their care and maintenance.

Maulvi Mahrabuddin Bilal, head of agriculture, irrigation and livestock for Kabul province, spoke on the importance of tree-planting. He stated that planting saplings plays a fundamental role in greening the country and that protecting and maintaining them is a shared responsibility of all.

Maulvi Ghulam Saeed Ehsas, deputy of the Technical and Vocational Education Administration, also emphasized the value of tree-planting for the country. He stressed that for the greening and prosperity of the country, all people must pay serious attention to planting and caring for saplings.
