Afghan Telecom Communications Emirate Company Promotes Fiber to the Building Internet Services
Afghan Telecom Communications Emirate Company is offering Fiber to the Building (FTTB), a modern optical fiber-based internet solution that extends high-speed connectivity from central networks directly to buildings.
FTTB operates by running optical fiber cables from the main network hub to the target building. Inside the building, the fiber connection is distributed to individual units via an internal network, such as Ethernet or coaxial cables, enabling multiple subscribers to access the service simultaneously.
The technology provides key advantages, including exceptionally high internet speeds, stable and reliable connections immune to common disruptions, support for high-quality video streaming and online activities, and scalability for multi-user environments like residential apartments or office complexes. FTTB also features future-proof infrastructure capable of handling increasing bandwidth demands as digital usage grows in Afghanistan.
Afghan Telecom Communications Emirate Company strives to expand FTTB services nationwide, addressing the country's evolving needs for advanced telecommunications amid rising internet reliance for education, business, and entertainment.
