
Nearly 3,000 foreign citizens recorded entering and exiting Afghanistan in Dalu
The National Statistics and Information Authority reported that 2,918 foreign citizens entered and exited Afghanistan through land crossings and airports during the month of Dalu in the current solar year.
Of these, 1,507 foreign citizens entered the country, including 52 females, while 1,411 others departed, including 24 females.
The figures indicate that 1,499 entered via land ports and eight via air borders. Among the arrivals, 125 visited historical and ancient sites, with the remainder coming for work.
The highest number of entries, 1,016, occurred through Nimroz port, followed by 330 via Herat's land ports and airport. The rest entered through Aqina port in Faryab province, Hairatan port, and Balkh airport.
The authority's Department of Vital Events Registration and Foreign Nationals Affairs handles the registration of vital events such as births, deaths, marriages, and divorces; the entry and exit of foreign nationals through official ports and airports; and services related to acquiring or renouncing Afghan citizenship.
