Emirati Company Designs 2,000 Cubic Meter Sewage Treatment Plant for Kabul

The General Directorate of Emirati Companies has designed a sewage treatment plant with a capacity of 2,000 cubic meters for Kabul city to protect the environment.

The press office of the General Directorate stated that its Emirati Urban Water Supply and Sewage Company has surveyed and designed the facility for tankers, with a daily treatment capacity of 2,000 cubic meters and an area of 2,000 square meters. The plant aims to manage sewage, prevent groundwater pollution and enable wastewater reuse.

Engineer Faizullah Jamal, head of sewage affairs regulation at the Emirati Urban Water Supply and Sewage Company, detailed the project in a special program via presentation. He said the plant meets all global standards, with attention to both high daily treatment capacity and the quality of reused materials.
