Iranian and Omani Foreign Ministers Meet in Geneva, Emphasize Regional Peace and Stability

Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, Iran's Foreign Minister, met with Seyyed Badr Al-Busaidi, Oman's Foreign Minister, in Geneva.

Araghchi traveled to Geneva for indirect nuclear negotiations between Iran and the United States aimed at lifting sanctions. During the meeting, Araghchi emphasized Iran's determination and seriousness in pursuing result-oriented diplomacy to secure the country's legitimate interests and rights while preserving peace and stability in the region, according to Iran's Foreign Ministry.

Al-Busaidi highlighted Iran's role in maintaining and promoting regional peace and stability. He praised Iran's steadfastness in continuing the diplomatic path and expressed hope that this round of talks would conclude successfully.
