Herat Governor Sheikh Maulana Islamjar met with Minister of Public Works Mullah Mohammad Isa Thani to discuss accelerating key infrastructure and transit projects in the province. The meeting took place as part of efforts to advance development in Herat.
The projects under discussion included the alternative road for the Pashdan Dam, the expansion and completion of the Herat-Islam Qala highway, the Herat-Torghundi railway project, and the construction of cargo and service facilities at the Torghundi port.
