Former MP Says 34 Hindu Families in Canada Seek Return to Afghanistan

Narendra Singh Khalsa, a former member of parliament representing Afghanistan's Hindu and Sikh communities, stated that 34 Hindu families living in Canada wish to return to Afghanistan.

Khalsa made the remarks during a meeting with Shahabuddin Delawar, head of the Commission for Contact with Afghan Personalities.

The former MP recently returned to Afghanistan from Canada with support from the commission.

Khalsa also noted that the Sikh community in Canada is willing to finance and build a modern hospital in Afghanistan.

Delawar welcomed Khalsa's return and reaffirmed the commission's commitment to addressing property rights, assets, and other challenges for Hindu and Sikh communities.
