EU Foreign Policy Chief Kaja Kallas Warns Any Potential War with Iran Could Involve Entire Region

Kaja Kallas, the European Union's foreign policy chief, warned on Monday, February 23, during a press conference in Brussels that any conflict with Iran could extend beyond its borders and engulf the entire region.

Kallas stated that there is still an opportunity to resolve the crisis through diplomacy and emphasized that it must be seized.

Meanwhile, Iran's Deputy Foreign Minister Kazem Gharibabadi warned at the Geneva Disarmament Conference that any attack on Iran would have widespread consequences not limited to one country, with responsibility falling on the initiators or their supporters. Gharibabadi also reaffirmed Iran's right to peaceful nuclear energy.

These statements follow U.S. President Donald Trump's deployment of extensive naval and air forces in the Middle East, coupled with threats of potential attack on Iran if negotiations fail.
