Khalil Arsalan, a 19-year-old Afghan freestyle MMA fighter, is undergoing intensive training ahead of a crucial match against a Pakistani opponent in Islamabad.

Under the guidance of coach Fouad Badakhshi, Arsalan is focusing on both standing and ground techniques to dominate in any position during the cage fight. The bout is scheduled for April in the 61-kilogram weight class as part of a prestigious martial arts organization.

Arsalan has a perfect record against Pakistani and Iranian opponents, having won all three previous encounters. However, he has missed some international competitions due to visa issues with host countries.

The Pakistani rival presents a serious challenge, with seven wins and one loss in his last eight matches. Despite this, Badakhshi praised Arsalan's abilities, reaction speed, and tactical skills, stating that a calculated strategy will lead to victory for Afghanistan.

Arsalan has called for support from fans and the government. Several athletes have echoed this, urging backing for all competitors, particularly Arsalan, as he aims to deliver an exciting performance and raise Afghanistan's flag high.
