The office of the Taliban governor in Bamyan announced the unveiling of a book on pledging allegiance to Mullah Hebatullah Akhundzada, the Taliban leader, at the province's university.

Taliban Governor Gul Haidar Shafaq urged professors and students in Bamyan to promote and implement the book. The book, titled "Bay'ah with Amir al-Mu'minin," was presented during a ceremony on Tuesday, 21 Dalu. The Taliban refers to its leader as "Amir al-Mu'minin."

In remarks at the event, Shafaq described Mullah Hebatullah as a "wise and patient leader" based on personal meetings. He stated that obedience to Mullah Hebatullah is essential for all people. The governor's press office shared the announcement on X.

The book was authored by Mullah Hebatullah Akhundzada himself, according to the announcement. No photos or videos of the ceremony have been published by the Taliban.

Rahmatullah Mujahed, head of Taliban intelligence in Bamyan, described the book as having significant scientific and spiritual importance. He emphasized the need to apply and implement its content among the public, particularly students.
