Samuel Sadiqi, founder of Afghan Pix, has successfully summited Aconcagua, the highest peak in the Americas at 6,962 meters and one of the world's Seven Summits.

He reached the summit on Saturday in Mendoza, Argentina, as part of his global mountaineering program aimed at inspiring Afghan youth and highlighting the potential of Afghanistan's mountains for sports, education and sustainable development.

This achievement follows Sadiqi's 2023 ascent of Mount Everest, where he became the first Afghan citizen to reach the world's highest point.

The climb was supported logistically by Grakhales Expeditions. Officials from the company stated they backed Sadiqi's mission to achieve another historic milestone in Afghan mountaineering.

Afghan Pix, a charity organization, focuses on developing mountaineering and skiing skills, avalanche safety training and environmental protection.

Organizers said international climbs like this provide opportunities to showcase Afghanistan's natural beauty and foster self-confidence among the country's youth.
