Ministry of Information and Culture Promotes Social Morals through Public Awareness Programs
The Ministry of Information and Culture of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan is implementing public awareness initiatives to promote Islamic morals, family values and warn against unlawful behavior.
These efforts include disseminating messages in urban areas, using various platforms for wide reach, organizing community events for discussions on morals and values, and conducting programs in schools and community centers to educate youth.
The initiatives aim to inform the public about Islamic principles, the importance of family values and the consequences of illegal activities, such as unlawful relationships or leaving homes, which are said to disrupt family dynamics and harm societal moral growth.
Publishing images of non-mahram women is described as a violation of societal moral standards and individual privacy. The ministry seeks to raise awareness about such practices to foster a clean, safe and respectful social environment.
The programs are intended to promote adherence to Islamic principles, strengthen family institutions, prevent corruption and maintain social stability and dignity for both women and men.
