Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov: US Not Ready to Implement Alaska Summit Proposals on Ukraine

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stated that the United States is currently not prepared to implement proposals regarding Ukraine that were raised during the Alaska summit.
According to TASS news agency, Lavrov made these remarks during a conversation with media on Monday. He noted that the proposals had previously been accepted but Washington has now backed away from their implementation.
Lavrov said: "We accepted the US proposal except for the Ukraine issue; we were ready for it but now they are not. We do not see promising prospects from an economic point of view."
He further claimed that the United States is seeking to control energy transit routes to various countries, including Europe. Lavrov described Washington's objective as "global economic dominance," pursued through tariffs, sanctions, bans, and various restrictions against certain countries.
The Russian foreign minister emphasized that Moscow will factor these actions into its political and economic calculations.
