Revenues of Doshi District Municipality in Baghlan Increase

Bakhtar News|

The revenues of the Doshi district municipality in Baghlan province have increased compared to the previous year, according to Mayor Hidayatullah Ahmad.

Ahmad told a Bakhtar News reporter that the municipality collected about 4 million Afghanis in the first 11 months of the current year, compared to nearly 3 million Afghanis in the same period last year. He said this represents an increase of 1 million Afghanis.

The mayor stated that the revenues come from issuing professional licenses, renting properties, shops and hotels owned by the municipality, and collecting cleaning fees.

Ahmad emphasized ongoing efforts to develop new revenue sources, saying that launching additional income streams would lead to further increases in municipal revenues next year.

He urged residents of the district to pay cleaning fees and other legal charges on time, noting that timely payments would support urban development and improve service delivery to the public.
