Inter-Ministerial Investment Committee Approves Commercial Market Plan in Sar-e Pol Center

The inter-ministerial investment committee has approved a plan to build a commercial market in the center of Sar-e Pol province.

The Press Office of the Economic Deputy of the Prime Minister's Office announced that the committee reviewed a report from a designated committee on constructing the market on municipal land during a recent meeting.

The meeting also addressed a private sector proposal to build public toilets in 18 areas and commercial markets with public toilets in 13 areas on Kabul Municipality properties.

Following discussions, the designated committee was instructed to hold technical and financial negotiations with the proposing company for some of the 13 specified locations. Kabul Municipality was directed to announce the remaining areas through open bidding.

The committee is required to submit its report to the inter-ministerial investment committee within a specified timeframe.
