Rural Rehabilitation Minister: Projects Implemented in Remote Areas Where Needed

Mullah Abdul Latif Mansour, Afghanistan's Minister of Rural Rehabilitation and Development, met with Peter Torning, head of the Dakar Institute, and stated that development projects should be implemented in remote areas of the country where they are needed.

According to the ministry's press office, Torning provided information on the institute's projects and activities during the meeting. He added that assured security in Afghanistan now allows projects to be carried out on time and with quality throughout the country, based on local needs.

Torning further said the institute aims to implement more development projects in deprived areas in full coordination with the ministry.

Mansour expressed the ministry's appreciation for the institute's continued cooperation. He reiterated that projects should target remote regions with identified needs and committed to ongoing collaboration on fundamental projects.

Both sides emphasized sustained cooperation and coordination.
