The strikes occurred on Saturday night, February 21, 2026, with one Taliban-affiliated religious school in the Margi area of Barmal district targeted, according to the sources.
No reports of casualties have been released so far.
Similar attacks have been reported previously in Paktika districts, and border areas of the province have seen increased tensions in recent weeks.
