Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan and ISIS Khorasan clash in Pakistan's Orakzai district

Local and security sources in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province reported clashes between fighters of the ISIS Khorasan branch and members of Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan in the Orakzai district, leaving at least four people dead and several wounded.

The fighting occurred in the Sheikhan area of the district, where the rival groups exchanged heavy fire, according to the sources.

Security sources stated that the clashes began over a dispute related to extortion money.

Reports indicated that among the dead were three ISIS Khorasan members, including a commander named Abid, also known as Hamzeh. One Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan member was also killed, with three others from the group sustaining serious injuries.
