
Meteorology Department Forecasts Rain, Possible Floods in 14 Provinces
Afghanistan's Meteorology Department under the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation has forecasted rain and possible floods for tomorrow in 14 provinces.
The affected provinces are Kunar, Nangarhar, Maidan Wardak, Logar, Paktia, Khost, Paktika, Ghazni, Zabul, Ghor, Herat, Badghis, Sar-e Pol, and Faryab.
Rainfall is expected to reach up to 10-20 millimeters in various areas of these provinces, according to the department's forecast.
The Meteorology Department has also issued a warning for strong winds reaching speeds of 50-70 kilometers per hour in southern and western provinces.
Residents in the listed areas are advised to prepare for potential flooding and windy conditions.
