
Afghanistan's National Statistics Authority Distributes Over 2 Million Electronic Tazkiras in Year 1404
KABUL (Afghan Verified) -- Afghanistan's National Statistics and Information Authority distributed 2,028,079 electronic tazkiras in the solar year 1404 through 84 centers across the country.
The authority provided a gender breakdown, stating that 1,529,244 tazkiras were issued to men and 498,835 to women during the year.
Distribution was highest in Kabul province with 500,456 tazkiras, followed by Herat with 246,064, Kandahar with 132,356, Nangarhar with 119,183 and Balkh with 104,292.
The authority noted that since the issuance process began, more than 17,487,000 electronic tazkiras have been provided to citizens nationwide.
Electronic tazkiras represent a key component of Afghanistan's civil registration system, replacing traditional paper documents with secure, digital identification.
