Kabul Police Arrest Two for Narcotics Sales, Seize 6,000 Zikab Tablets

Security forces in Kabul's 19th district arrested two individuals for selling narcotic drugs, seizing approximately 6,000 Zikab tablets and one vehicle from the suspects.

Khalid Zadran, spokesperson for Kabul Police Command, announced the arrests and seizures on his X page. He stated that the operation targeted the distribution of narcotics in the area.

The files of the arrested persons will be forwarded to relevant authorities for legal proceedings, Zadran said.

The action comes amid prior concerns raised by Afghan officials about raw materials for industrial narcotics entering the country from abroad. Officials had expressed these worries during a meeting with international representatives.
