A coordination meeting involving senior officials from Afghanistan’s Central Zone provinces was held on Tuesday at the Kabul Governor’s Office, chaired by Kabul Governor Aminullah Obaid.

The Media Office of the Kabul Governor’s Office stated that the meeting focused on improving coordination and ensuring more effective implementation of decrees issued by the Leader of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. Officials from Kapisa, Panjshir, Maidan Wardak, Parwan, and Bamyan provinces attended, along with the head of the Central Zone Military Court, the deputy commander of the 313 Central Corps, provincial police chiefs, and intelligence directors.

Participants discussed ways to strengthen coordination among provincial administrations and security institutions for consistent and timely implementation of leadership directives across the Central Zone.

In a separate address to scholars of Kandahar districts, Sheikh Hibatullah Akhundzada, leader of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, expressed gratitude to Afghan scholars and people for obeying the Islamic Emirate. Hamdullah Fitrat, deputy spokesperson of the Islamic Emirate, relayed Akhundzada’s speech, in which he described ulama as leaders and guides of the Ummah in Sharia matters.

Akhundzada emphasized that the Ummah and emirs must obey scholars on religious issues, seek their guidance, and consult them. He urged promoting unity, obedience, and consultation, warning that the system is built and can be harmed by the people. He called on officials to eliminate ignorant customs, remain attentive to responsibilities, avoid worldly covetousness, and promote obedience for unity and strength.

Akhundzada stated that Islam and Sharia are preserved by ulama, who have historically countered efforts to distort religion. He highlighted their responsibility to remove societal evils, explain vices, teach Sharia rulings, prevent sedition, and reform morals, noting Afghans’ piety and sacrifices. He stressed that the Islamic system’s survival depends on promoting religious knowledge.
