
Islamic Emirate Deputy Prime Minister Hanafi Attends Introduction Ceremony for New Transport and Civil Aviation Minister
Maulvi Abdul Salam Hanafi, deputy administrative prime minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, participated and delivered a speech at the introduction ceremony for Mullah Mohammad Fazil Akhund, who was recently appointed as minister of transport and civil aviation by decree of the Amir al-Mu'minin.
The event was attended by several officials of the Islamic Emirate. Hanafi commended Akhund's activities, performance and services during his prior role as deputy minister of national defense, describing them as praiseworthy.
Hanafi also expressed appreciation for the efforts of former transport and civil aviation minister Mullah Hamidullah Akhundzada.
He prayed to Almighty Allah for success for both Akhund and Akhundzada in their new responsibilities.
Hanafi expressed hope that Akhund, drawing on his experience, would take effective steps to develop infrastructure, strengthen coordination among relevant departments and improve the quality of land and air transport services.
