Minister Noorullah Noori of the Ministry of Borders, Ethnicities and Tribes has emphasized the independence of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan and its commitment to fostering good relations with all countries around the world.
Speaking during a public gathering in Kunduz province, Noori stated that the Afghan people do not want another system and they reject external propaganda that aims to cause unrest. He described the Islamic Emirate as an independent system that seeks good relations with all countries and does not want to create or face any problems with its neighbors or the international community.
Noori added that the stable Islamic Emirate government has eliminated Pakistan's influence that existed over Afghanistan during the past two decades. He stressed that Afghans are prepared to defend their borders with their lives and property.
The minister further noted that under the current government, Afghanistan has no debts and that any outstanding debts belong to the previous administration.
The public gathering was held to exchange views and create mutual understanding between the government and the people. Those in attendance included local officials, district representatives, religious scholars, tribal elders, university professors, youth and citizens.
Political expert Supportullah Ahmadi said that Pakistan's policies toward Afghanistan have failed. He noted that not only do Islamic Emirate officials criticize them, but scholars and political figures within Pakistan also criticize the country's military government.
