
Islamic Emirate Foreign Minister Visits Badghis, Stresses Infrastructure for Balanced Development
Mawlawi Amir Khan Muttaqi, Foreign Minister of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, has visited Badghis province in western Afghanistan. During the visit, Muttaqi met with Badghis Governor Mullah Mohammad Hanif Hamza to discuss a number of issues. The meeting focused on development projects, economic opportunities for the province, and the strengthening of infrastructure.
Particular attention was paid to the Laman-Qaisar ring road project. Muttaqi said that the implementation of the Laman-Qaisar road project is effective in promoting economic growth and trade. The foreign minister also stressed that strengthening infrastructure projects is essential for balanced development.
The governor of Badghis said that work is ongoing on sections three and five of the Laman-Qaisar road. He added that asphalt works on the third section have been inaugurated. Officials described the road as vital for economic growth, trade expansion, and improving connectivity in the region.
The governor further noted that efforts are continuing to complete the remaining sections of the Afghanistan ring road in Badghis with attention from the leadership.
