Iran's Foreign Minister: Diplomacy Only Solution to Nuclear Issues

Iran's Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araqchi stated that diplomacy is the only path to resolving the country's nuclear issues, affirming Iran's commitment to serious and result-oriented negotiations.
Speaking on February 9, as reported by Tasnim News Agency, Araqchi referenced past experiences, noting that the Iranian people have resisted pressures and threats. "What made everyone turn to diplomacy again is the resistance of the Iranian people," he said.
Araqchi emphasized: "Whenever the Iranian nation has been addressed with the language of force, the Iranian nation has resisted, and whenever spoken to with the language of respect, the Iranian people have responded in kind."
He attributed Iran's distrust of the United States to the country's past actions, while expressing Iran's desire for genuine negotiations leading to concrete outcomes. This would require the opposing side to demonstrate equal seriousness and readiness for productive dialogue.
Araqchi voiced hope that the coming year would bring peace and tranquility, with diplomacy prevailing over war. He stressed that the region could experience calmer days as a result.
