Iran's Araqchi Discusses US Talks with Pakistani Foreign Minister

Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araqchi held a telephone conversation with Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar regarding the latest developments in indirect Iran-US talks in Muscat.
Iran's Foreign Ministry stated on Wednesday, February 11, that Araqchi outlined Iran's positions on reaching a fair and equitable agreement with the United States during the call.
Dar expressed wishes for success in the upcoming negotiations and stressed Pakistan's readiness to cooperate and support the advancement of Iran's diplomacy.
The conversation occurs amid recent tensions in Iran and concerns about the country's internal situation, including protests and political developments, which have influenced Tehran's relations with Washington. The indirect talks in Muscat were held with high sensitivity.
Araqchi has previously announced that recognizing Iran's right to uranium enrichment would be the key to successful negotiations with the US.
