
Inter-Ministerial Investment Committee Discusses Solar Power Production and Underground Commercial Market Plans
The regular meeting of the Inter-Ministerial Investment Committee took place on Tuesday, 12 Dalu 1404 (March 3, 2025), at Marmarin Palace.
The Economic Deputy Office of the Prime Minister's Office stated that a proposal for constructing an underground commercial market owned by the Kabul Municipality in the first district of Kabul city was presented for discussion.
The office said a designated committee was tasked with conducting a comprehensive evaluation of the proposal, contingent on obtaining input from the Ministry of Urban Development and Housing, and submitting a report to the Inter-Ministerial Investment Committee within the specified timeframe.
The meeting also addressed a plan for solar power production and establishing a battery-based electricity storage system in the provinces of Farah, Daykundi, Ghor, Zabul, and Uruzgan.
Breshna Company was instructed to collaborate with the proposing company to select several provinces from those listed, perform technical and comprehensive assessments, and deliver a final report to the committee within the designated period.
