Herat Governor Discusses Strengthening Economic Ties with Turkmenistan's General Consul
Bator Yolov, the general consul of Turkmenistan in Herat, met with Sheikh Molana Noor Ahmad Islamjar, the governor of Herat province.
According to a press release from the Herat provincial governor's office, the two officials discussed expanding trade cooperation, facilitating the transit of petroleum products and strengthening economic relations.
The press release stated that Yolov welcomed joint efforts to expand exports and imports between Turkmenistan and Afghanistan, assuring comprehensive cooperation in this area.
Islamjar, in turn, welcomed trade and transit cooperation through Turkmenistan's borders, emphasizing that the Islamic Emirate seeks to develop relations with the country.
