Deputy PM Hanafi: Current Islamic System Result of Nation's Sacrifices, All United to Preserve It
Maulvi Abdul Salam Hanafi, Deputy Administrative Prime Minister, held an iftar banquet with political analysts and media figures.
Dr. Mulla Abdul Waseh, Head of the Prime Minister's Office, welcomed the attendees and thanked them for explaining the Islamic Emirate's policy and defending Islamic and national interests. Hanafi praised the activities of the political analysts, stating that the current Islamic system is the result of the nation's sacrifices and that all are united to protect it.
Hanafi added that Afghanistan seeks no war or problems with anyone and desires good relations with neighboring countries, regional states and the world based on mutual respect. However, he emphasized that defending the nation and the system is obligatory if national sovereignty is violated.
The deputy prime minister expressed regret over civilian casualties in recent attacks, saying the war has been imposed and that victories over threats have been achieved so far with the nation's support and consultation.
Political analysts at the banquet condemned attacks by the Pakistani military regime on Afghan airspace and announced full support for the Islamic Emirate. They stated that good relations are desired with all neighbors, but given the violations of airspace and national sovereignty, the Islamic Emirate's reciprocal response has the support of all strata of the nation.
Dr. Mulla Abdul Waseh and Sheikh Mahmoud Zakiri, Head of Political and Public Affairs, were also present at the meeting.
