
Construction Plans for Commercial Markets in Sar-e Pol and Jowzjan Provinces Approved
The regular meeting of the Inter-Ministerial Investment Committee took place on Tuesday, 28 Dalu 1404 solar calendar (February 17, 2025), at the Marble Palace.
According to a press release from the Economic Deputy Office of the Prime Minister's Office, the committee approved construction plans for commercial markets in Gosfandi district of Sar-e Pol province and the provincial center of Jowzjan.
The market in Sar-e Pol will feature 148 shops across two floors, while the market in Jowzjan will have 79 shops across five floors.
During the meeting, a proposal was presented for discussion to install screens on urban taxis for broadcasting commercial, religious, social, and emirate advertisements.
Following review, relevant committees were tasked with comprehensively evaluating all aspects of the taxi screen proposal and submitting a report to the Inter-Ministerial Investment Committee within the specified timeframe.
