The Committee Obligated to Prevent the Import of Low-Quality Fuel has issued a statement to enforce decree number 5671/793, dated 17/10/1446, from Amir al-Mu'minin.

The directive aims to safeguard public interests, ensure petroleum product quality, regulate the liquid oil and gas market, and halt the import and distribution of substandard fuels. All petroleum and liquid gas traders, importing companies, and related entities are required to comply.

Importing companies must import oil and liquid gas only according to prevailing standards and principles. Such imports in violation of standards constitute a clear offense, with perpetrators to be referred to relevant authorities without leniency, in line with Amir al-Mu'minin's decrees.

Fuel tankers and gas stations must source fuel and liquid gas exclusively from permitted companies and retain seller documentation. During inspections, confirmed presence of substandard products will prompt immediate legal action by the committee.

The committee pledges comprehensive, ongoing nationwide supervision to enforce standards, prioritizing this as a core urgent task.
