The board of directors meeting of the Nangarhar Valley Agrarian Company was held under the chairmanship of Maulvi Sadr Azam Usmani, deputy minister of agriculture and livestock.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock stated that discussions focused on the financial, procurement and commercial plan for the year 1405, formation of the new fiscal year, review of the company's debts to real and legal persons, proposals for mudarabah and wakala transactions with commercial banks, and the status of motivated and beneficial employees.

Participants emphasized the precise arrangement of financial programs and strengthening the company's commercial activities for the next year. They expressed hope that implementing new financial and commercial programs would enhance the company's production and economic capacity next year and increase its share in developing the country's agriculture sector.

The Nangarhar Valley Agrarian Company was established in 1338 solar year (1959/1960) to implement agricultural projects in the eastern zone of the country. The institution has extensive activities in producing grapes, olives, peanuts and other fruits and vegetables, making it one of the important agricultural production centers in eastern Afghanistan.

Attendees included Abdul Latif Nazari, deputy minister of economy; Haji Abdul Qadir Ahmad, deputy minister of finance; Maulvi Ahmadullah Zahed, deputy minister of industry and commerce; Mulla Mohammad Naim Agha, head of the Nangarhar Valley Agrarian Company; and several directors from the Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock.
