
Balkh Statistics Directorate Provides Vital Registration Services to 155,610 People in Solar Year 1404
MAZAR-I-SHARIF, Afghanistan -- The Statistics and Information Directorate in Balkh Province provided vital registration services to 155,610 people during solar year 1404.
Maulvi Abdul Bari Anqiyadi, head of the directorate, said the services included 104,292 electronic tazkeras, 30,846 paper tazkeras, vital events registration for 8,733 people, and tazkera citizenship corrections for 11,739 people.
Anqiyadi stated that one Easy Service center and three electronic tazkera distribution centers are active in the province. The Easy Service center handles issuance of new tazkeras, duplicates, renewals, corrections, and registration of births, marriages, and divorces.
The directorate also collected social, economic, and health data using 1,572 standard forms, which were shared with relevant departments, he added.
Additionally, the directorate implemented an address mapping survey and a food security survey across Balkh Province.
