Three Residential Facilities Completed at Sheikh Abu Nasr Farahi Port in Farah
In Farah province, project works at the Sheikh Abu Nasr Farahi Port have seen significant progress with the completion of three residential facilities.
These facilities were constructed at a cost of 18 million Afghanis by the Ministry of Finance. They span 3.5 jeribs of land and the construction phase lasted nine months. The main objective behind building these residential places was to provide amenities for traders, investors and clients and to address their various problems at the port.
The head of customs at the port, Maulvi Khalil ur Rahman Mustafa, has commented on the development. He said that the three residential facilities will provide the necessary facilities to the traders, investors and clients.
Mustafa stated that with this project, the commercial facilities at the port have been improved substantially. According to him, the problems that traders were facing have been resolved for the most part thanks to these new facilities.
Additionally, there is another important project underway at the same port. The construction of four large warehouses is currently 90 percent complete. This project is costing 178 million Afghanis.
The customs head's statements underscore the importance of these infrastructure projects in enhancing the port's ability to serve the trading community effectively.
