Taliban Report Forced Return of Nearly Three Thousand Migrants in One Day

The Taliban announced that 541 families totaling 2,934 people were forcibly returned to Afghanistan on 6 Asad.
Deputy spokesman Hamidullah Fitrat said 433 families numbering 2,402 people entered through the Torkham border crossing in Nangarhar province. Another 55 families with 321 people crossed at Spin Boldak in Kandahar province.
Thirty-five families totaling 125 people returned via the Silk Road crossing in Nimroz province, while 18 families with 68 people entered through Islam Qala in Herat province.
