
Tadbur wa Tafakkur Wins Parwan Provincial Futsal Tournament
CHARIKAR, Afghanistan -- The "Tadbur wa Tafakkur" team has won the provincial futsal tournament in Parwan, according to a statement from the Parwan governor's office.
The competition featured 12 teams from the provincial center and districts. It took place at the Saeedi Sports Complex in Charikar, the capital of Parwan province, and ran from the 20th of Ramadan until April 4, 2026.
"Nokhbegan-i-Bagram" finished as runners-up in the tournament, which was organized by the head of the provincial futsal committee in coordination with the Physical Education and Sports Directorate of Parwan.
Individual awards were also announced at the conclusion of the event. Tabesh Saeedi was named the best player, Navid Jan was recognized as the top scorer, and Ferdos Mohammadi was honored as the best goalkeeper.
The tournament provided an opportunity for teams from across Parwan to compete in futsal, a popular indoor version of football, highlighting local sports talent and organization under the oversight of provincial authorities.
