Sources: Ali Ahmad Seifi Replaces Abdul Hakim Hamat as Head of Ktalawi Exemption Section in Taliban Ministry of Public Health
Informed sources report that Ali Ahmad Seifi has been appointed as the new head of the Ktalawi exemption section in the Taliban Ministry of Public Health, replacing Abdul Hakim Hamat.
The replacement follows Abdul Hakim Hamat's dismissal after an Amu TV exposé. The sources indicated that the investigative report prompted the latest removal from the position.
According to the sources, Hamat had previously been dismissed for corruption by Qalandar Abad, who served as the Taliban Minister of Public Health at the time. Despite the earlier dismissal, Hamat was reappointed after Noor Jalal Jalali became the Minister of Health.
The sources also leveled accusations of financial misconduct against Hamat in connection with the national measles vaccination campaign. They claimed the campaign failed.
