
Public Works Minister Discusses Reconstruction of Asp Tunnel with Iranian Ambassador
KABUL — Public Works Minister Mullah Mohammad Isa Thani met with Iranian Ambassador Ali Reza Baqideli in Kabul to discuss expanding economic and commercial ties between the two countries.
According to the Ministry of Public Works, the meeting covered the reconstruction of the Asp Tunnel project.
The officials also discussed boosting transit via the Khaf-Herat route and improving transit facilities.
Emphasis was placed on ongoing joint cooperation for the repair and reconstruction of infrastructure projects, including roads and bridges.
