Afghanistan and Uzbekistan Hold Joint Commercial Meeting in Kabul, Sign 13 Pharma Contracts Worth Over $25 Million
KABUL — A joint commercial meeting between Afghanistan and Uzbekistan was held in Kabul, with participants emphasizing the expansion of economic relations, facilitation of bilateral trade and cooperation in the pharmaceutical industry.
Mullah Hamdullah Fitrat stated that the discussions focused on commitments to investment and providing facilities for traders.
Maulvi Hamdullah Zahed described the meeting as an important opportunity for cooperation between the two countries and underscored support for investment initiatives.
Abdullah Azizov expressed Uzbekistan's readiness to cooperate with Afghanistan in pharmaceutical production.
During the event, pharmaceutical traders from both countries signed 13 commercial contracts valued at more than $25 million.
