KABUL — The General Directorate of Emirati Companies announced that practical work on the large-scale Spinzar commercial and residential town project in Kunduz province, with an estimated investment of 45 billion Afghanis, will begin soon.

Spinzar Kunduz Emirati Company, affiliated with the General Directorate of Emirati Companies, will implement the project on 150 jeribs of land owned by the company in the northeast zone of the country. The directorate stated on its X page that this marks the first time the company is undertaking such an extensive initiative.

Practical construction will commence after completion of administrative procedures and obtaining approvals from the General Directorate of Emirati Companies and the Ministry of Urban Development and Housing.

The town has been designed according to international standards. Upon completion, it is expected to significantly alter the landscape of Kunduz, the center of the northeast zone, and create new economic, commercial, and residential opportunities for local residents.

Both announcements emphasize the project's potential to enhance opportunities in the region.
