Pakistan contacts Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar for mediation to prevent Afghan Defense Forces attacks on Pakistani militias
Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Pakistan's Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, held a telephone conversation with Faisal bin Farhan, Saudi Arabia's Foreign Minister.
The Saudi Foreign Ministry stated that the call covered recent events and developments, as well as efforts to reduce violence.
According to reports, Pakistan has also reached out to the foreign ministers of Oman and Qatar seeking their mediation to halt attacks by Afghan Defense Forces on Pakistani militias.
