The Meteorological Department of the Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation has forecast thunderstorms, rain, and potential floods in eighteen provinces on June eighteen.

The provinces expected to be affected include Badakhshan, Takhar, Baghlan, Samangan, Balkh, Sar-e Pul, Maidan Wardak, Ghazni, Paktika, Khost, Paktia, Logar, Nangarhar, Laghman, Kunar, Nuristan, Panjshir, and Parwan.

Rainfall is expected to range between ten and thirty millimeters in various areas of the listed provinces. Strong winds up to fifty kilometers per hour, along with dust and sandstorms, are also predicted for central, southeastern, southern, and western provinces.
