
Mehtarlam Municipality Implements 12 Development Projects Worth 88 Million Afghanis This Year
Mehtarlam Municipality in Laghman province has implemented 12 development projects worth 88 million Afghanis from its internal budget this year.
Out of these projects, nine have been completed and three are nearing completion, according to Al-Haj Mawlawi Nazar Muhammad Atiq, mayor of Mehtarlam Municipality.
Atiq told Bakhtar News Agency that the projects include the construction of facilities, repair and reconstruction of roads, construction of bridges, water channels, shades and fuel tanks in various parts of Mehtarlam city. The initiatives aim to address citizens' problems.
During the implementation of these projects, job opportunities were provided for 566 people.
The mayor assured that the municipality plans to implement additional development projects in the future to resolve people's issues in Mehtarlam city.
