High-Ranking Uzbek Delegation Arrives in Kabul to Boost Trade with Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan

A high-ranking government and private sector delegation from Uzbekistan's Namangan Province has arrived in the capital city of Kabul. This visit is aimed at enhancing the existing trade and investment ties between Uzbekistan and the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.

The delegation is headed by the Governor of Namangan, Shukrat Abdulrazzaqov. It comprises the governor's deputies together with over 30 prominent traders and investors hailing from Namangan Province.

During their time in Kabul, members of the delegation are expected to hold meetings with officials from the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan. They will also participate in various business conferences and forums organized for the occasion.

After completing their schedule in the capital, the Uzbek delegation is set to proceed to the northern province of Balkh. In the city of Mazar-i-Sharif, they will inaugurate an exhibition displaying various Uzbek products and conduct additional meetings with the private sector.

This latest delegation arrival continues the recent trend of high-level exchanges between the two neighboring countries. Among the previous engagements was the visit by the governor of Syrdarya Province, Erkinjon Turdimov, as well as meetings involving the Islamic Emirate's Minister of Industry and Commerce, Nooruddin Azizi. Authorities have indicated that additional governors from different provinces of Uzbekistan will be making similar visits in the near future.
