Kabul Times News Launches Independent Media Outlet in France

Kabul Times News, an independent Afghan media organization founded in exile, has officially launched its operations in France. The outlet is staffed by more than ten professional Afghan journalists who have committed to providing daily, impartial coverage of developments inside Afghanistan and international affairs.

The launch comes as press freedoms inside the country face significant constraints. According to the Afghanistan Journalists Center, at least 150 cases involving violations of media rights and journalist freedoms were documented over the past year.
