KABUL — Khalifa Sirajuddin Haqqani, Minister of Interior Affairs of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, stated that the security of Afghanistan equates to the security of the region and the world.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony of the sixth professional police course, Haqqani said insecurity in the region constitutes insecurity for the entire world. "Neighbors, the region, and the world must adopt strategies and policies that contribute to the stability of Afghanistan," he added.

Addressing the graduating police officers, Haqqani emphasized that the foundation of the system was built on piety and sacrifice. He urged them to prioritize the values of the system over self-promotion and to elevate their ethical capacity to influence their duties positively.

Haqqani stated that officers equipped with Islamic belief and professional training are capable of providing valuable services to the people. He highlighted the police's role in maintaining security, preventing crime, and strengthening the system, noting that professionalization of the police is fundamental to the country's stability.

The minister described the qualities of an Islamic police officer as piety, professionalism, and dedication, asserting that ensuring security is possible only through a professional and disciplined police force. He stressed prioritizing education and ethical standards, as improper behavior by individuals can damage public trust in the system.

Haqqani urged the police to uphold principles of public service through piety, good conduct toward the people, and law enforcement, thereby strengthening public trust and cooperation.
