Islamic Emirate Deputy Prime Minister Assures Support for Returning Refugees During Kabul Camp Visit
Mawlawi Abdul Salam Hanafi, the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan's Deputy Prime Minister for Administrative Affairs, visited the Capital Terminal temporary refugee camp in Kabul and stated that officials are working to provide returning refugees with shelter, basic services, job opportunities and other support.
Hanafi urged camp officials to pay close attention to refugee affairs and make every effort to assist returnees. He called on the refugees to contribute to the development and prosperity of Afghanistan.
According to a post on the Arg presidential palace's X page cited by Pajhwok Afghan News, Hanafi offered Eid greetings during the visit and toured key camp facilities, including the mosque, health center, tents and transportation areas, to assess services firsthand. He listened to refugees' concerns and assured them that necessary measures would be taken to address them.
The statement noted that the Deputy Head for Economic Affairs also urged officials to prioritize refugee issues.
