The Commission for the Reform of Signs and Billboards monitored 250 signs and billboards in Kabul's eighth district of Kart-e-Naw.

Qari Wali Gul Jawad, head of cultural affairs of Kabul Municipality, said the signs and billboards must comply with Islamic Sharia, Afghan culture and national languages. Most complied with the requirements and recommendations were issued for deficiencies or foreign language text. The effort follows monitoring of 125 signs in the same area the previous week.
