An official from Iran's Central Khatam al-Anbiya Headquarters, affiliated with the army, warned that Tehran would respond severely to any attack on the country's energy facilities.

According to a report by Russia's TASS news agency on Thursday, March 12, the official stated that even the smallest attack on Iran's energy infrastructure and ports would provoke a "crushing and devastating" response.

The official added that, in such a scenario, Iran would target all oil and gas infrastructure across the Middle East that holds importance for the United States and its Western allies.

This statement comes amid rising regional tensions and growing concerns over potential strikes on Iranian energy facilities.
